\nFall takes its name from the falling leaves in autumn and the body\u2019s constant relationship with gravity. In Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui’s creation, lightness and weight, surrender and resistance coexist in a choreographic flow of great visual intensity. Set to the meditative music of Arvo P\u00e4rt, the dancers navigate a sophisticated writing that alternates between delicate duets and sweeping ensemble compositions. Movement develops like a constantly transforming matter, giving shape to a suspended landscape where dance manifests in its purest essence\u2014between precision, listening, and vulnerability.<\/p>\n
COMPANY AND CHOREOGRAPHER
\nFounded in 1950, the Ballet of the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad is one of the leading dance institutions in South-Eastern Europe. Under the leadership of Aja Jung since 2024, the company has embarked on a significant journey of artistic renewal, strengthening its international profile through collaborations with choreographers, teachers and performers from around the world.
