“When I got the news that my father had been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, I was already working with the paintings of Marko Jakše, Slovenia’s most acclaimed visionary painter. I was abroad and had a dream. I dreamt of bringing these extraordinary paintings in my father’s garden, he once was an expert in visual communication. And that’s what I did. I would bring him Marko’s paintings and he would read them to me. He would regain his lucidity, and I would record our conversations. This is the frame of my dance, my last dance for you, Dad.”
