PERFORMANCE
As the outcome of the workshop led by Valerio Longo, this public presentation shares with the audience the research journey undertaken by the participants, centred on the themes of roots, identity and community. A collective performance in which individual movements intertwine to form a collective whole, conveying the value of listening, sharing and connection through the language of dance.

Valerio Longo is a dancer, choreographer and tutor. Following his experience as a soloist with Danza Prospettiva and Balletto di Toscana, he joined Aterballetto in 2001, where he performed leading roles in the repertoire, collaborating with some of the most prominent figures in international contemporary dance, including Mauro Bigonzetti, Jiří Kylián, William Forsythe and Ohad Naharin.
At the same time, he has developed a significant career as a choreographer, creating works for companies and theatres in Italy and abroad. Since 2020, he has been assistant artistic director and choreographer at the Balletto di Roma, where he combines creative work with teaching.
