Our Earth is full of worlds within worlds, each with its own unique existence. Through micro-movements, bodily landscapes, and small objects, the show shines a spotlight on the tiny things in plain sight that are often overlooked. Against the backdrop of a fast-paced, vast world, it invites viewers to rediscover the small, fragile details of everyday life. Playful and poetic, this show explores the fragility of our existence and captivates both adult and young audiences.
Microworlds won the Czech Dance Platform 2023 Award and was selected for Aerowaves Spring Forward 2024.
Jazmína Piktorová was born in Slovakia and is now based in Prague. She is interested in the intersection between movement education and content creation for young audiences, as well as themes that challenge both her and her audience. In addition to her choreographic projects, she brings movement and creativity to schools as a Dance for Schools teacher, a project produced by Tanec Praha.
Sabina Bočková is a freelance artist based in Prague who is fascinated by simple body language and transforms movement through topics that reflect social issues.
